Our school day out horse camp is the perfect introduction to horses for young minds. Conveniently scheduled when school is out, these camps give young riders hands-on experience safely grooming, tacking, handling, leading and riding horses. Each session is uniquely themed and will be divided into instruction, ground handling, a mounted lesson and a craft. This camp is geared toward beginners. No previous horse experience is necessary!
Ages: 7-12*, no prior riding experience necessary! *Open to current NOCO Equine students of all ages
Capacity: 8 students
What do you need for camp: Bring a helmet*, water bottle and snack. Long pants and closed-toe boots are required. Sunscreen is recommended. Dress for the weather! *Riders must supply their own ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet. Bike helmets are not allowed.
Registration Information: Each camp can only be added to your cart ONCE. To register multiple children, you must checkout separately for each child. Once a camp is sold out, it will no longer allow you to add it to your cart. After you registration is complete and at least one week before the start of your camp, you will receive an email with important information, including our liability waiver. Liability waivers must be signed for each rider by a legal parent or guardian prior to participation. These forms should be filled out in advance and brought with your student to camp.
Registration ends 48 hours prior to event starting or when camp is full.
REGISTRATION IS NON REFUNDABLE* OR TRANSFERABLE! These camps require an immense amount of planning, staff, and horses. For this to happen, we unfortunately cannot issue refunds for camp once you are registered. Please double check the dates and your availability prior to enrolling.
*The only exception to our refund policy is in the case that NOCO Equine is not able to run our camp for any reason, including but not limited to inclement or dangerous weather, horse illness or injury, or instructor illness or injury. In the case of these events, if rescheduling is not an option, your registration fee will be refunded in full.
